The article entitled “Demolition Projects” featured a recently completed demolition project completed by Universal Wrecking Corp (UWC). The article discussed how UWC completed the first phase of a large demolition project in the New England Region. The client awarded the project to UWC based upon their engineered cost saving approaches to the project as well as their safety record and project schedule.
The first phase of the project included the asbestos abatement and demolition of several dilapidated buildings. The buildings were constructed of wood structural beams, wood floors and roofs and brick and stone walls. The buildings were 70 years plus old and had significant water damage and cracked beams making the structures unstable.
